I’m Norwegian and I’m born and raised on bread. Bread is strongly rooted in our culture. Now I live in Florida, where grocery stores have shelves upon shelves of different bread – but none that I find particularly satisfying … So I started making my own. And I got hooked.
There are so many things to say about the process of baking, in addition to the actual procedure. This is what I itch to share. My bread baking spring from Skandinavian traditions, and I hope I can inspire americans and others to appreciate the value of real bread, made from the heart.
